Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms govern your use of Mazingi, an AI receptionist service you can train on your own content and embed on your website. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you use Mazingi on behalf of a company, you represent that you can bind that company.

2. Your account

You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity in your workspace, including team members you invite. Keep your login secure and tell us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Your content and your leads

• You own your content. The websites, documents, and FAQs you upload, your chatbot configurations, and the conversations and leads captured through your receptionist belong to you.
• You grant us the limited license needed to operate the service: storing, processing, and transmitting that content (including to our AI provider) solely to provide Mazingi to you.
• You are responsible for having the rights to the content you upload and for its accuracy — your receptionist answers from it.

4. AI outputs — important

Mazingi generates responses with artificial intelligence grounded in your content. AI can make mistakes. You are responsible for reviewing your bot's configuration, testing its answers, and for anything it communicates to your visitors — including prices, availability, and commitments. AI responses are not legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.

5. Your website visitors

When you embed Mazingi on your website, you are the controller of your visitors' data. You are responsible for complying with laws that apply to you — including giving visitors any required notice (for example, in your own privacy policy) that chat and lead data is processed by a service provider, and for honoring their data requests.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Mazingi to:

• break the law, infringe others' rights, or process content you have no right to use;
• send spam or deceptive communications, or misrepresent who the assistant represents;
• probe, overload, or interfere with the service or other customers' workspaces;
• build or train a competing dataset from the service.

We may suspend accounts that put the service or others at risk.

7. Plans, trials, and billing

• A free plan is available with limited monthly volume; every signup also includes a free trial, and no payment method is required until you subscribe to a paid plan.
• Widgets on the free plan and during trials display a small "Powered by Mazingi" attribution link; paid plans remove it.
• Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly basis and differ by conversation volume and features, as described on our pricing page.
• You can cancel anytime; service continues through the end of the paid period. We do not provide prorated refunds except where required by law.
• We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply from your next billing cycle.

8. Termination

You may stop using Mazingi and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon account deletion, your workspace data is removed as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits, revenues, or business opportunities — including leads that were not captured. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. For material changes we will update the date above and notify customers by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
