Mazingi vs Landbot
Landbot is a visual builder for conversational flows — you draw the branches, and the bot walks visitors down them. Mazingi is not a builder. You point it at your website, pick your industry, and it holds a conversation from what it read. The practical differences are how much work setup is, and whether your bill moves with your traffic.

When Landbot is the better choice
Landbot's flow builder is genuinely excellent, and if you want deterministic control over every branch of a conversation it will beat anything generative. Structured data collection, quizzes, multi-step qualification with strict logic, or a process that must go exactly one way every time — that is what it is for, and being able to see the whole flow on a canvas is a real advantage. It also covers WhatsApp, on separate and considerably more expensive tiers. If your requirement is "ask these exact questions in this exact order and never improvise", Landbot is the more appropriate tool.
Common questions
- What does per-chat billing mean in practice?
- Your bill tracks your traffic. A busy month costs more than a quiet one, and going past your tier's allowance adds per-chat overages on top. Mazingi charges the same every month regardless of how many conversations happen, which for a seasonal business is the difference between a predictable cost and one that peaks exactly when everything else does.
- Can I still control what Mazingi asks?
- Yes — every question in every template is editable, and you can add your own. The difference is where you start: an editable set of questions modelled on how your industry qualifies a first call, rather than a blank canvas.
- What happens when a visitor asks something off-script?
- This is the real distinction. A flow answers what it was drawn to answer; anything else falls to a fallback branch. Mazingi answers from your website content and cites where the answer came from, and when it genuinely does not know, it says so and logs the question so you can see what your site is missing.
- Is Landbot cheaper on the free tier?
- It is free up to roughly a hundred chats a month, which is a real option for very low traffic. Past that the paid tiers start higher than Mazingi and add per-chat costs, so the comparison flips fairly quickly.
